News ♥ To all recently engaged couples........ As a thank you to those who chose engagement rings designed by Rachel we'd like to offer you a complimentary engagement photoshoot with our friends at Ian Scott Photography, complete with a framed photograph of your favourite image from the shoot. We had many new students enrol for this "mini-term" with lots of excellent results. Look out for another set of these short courses nearer Christmas - they are ideal for beginners. Our Wax Casting Masterclass took place over a sunny weekend in July. Rachel taught a full group who cast imaginitive designs including miniature books, gold fish, love hearts, and organically shaped rings. Not long to go until the start of Autumn Term at the Jewellery School! We are looking forward to hosting 2 great Masterclasses - Stone Setting and Beading. These will take place in September and October so look out for more details. Coffee and Jewellery - a real Gold Blend! We are pleased to be taking part in Macmillan's "World's Biggest Coffee Morning" and will be hosting a demonstration/coffee morning on Tuesday September 21st. Valuation Day, Saturday 5th June was a great success! Thank you very much to Steven L Jordan, The National Association of Goldsmith's Valuer of the Year, who had a packed appointment schedule and gave excellent service to all. We got to see some amazing one off pieces (and eat some glittery cupcakes) so thank you to everyone who made appointments! Pass the Parcel - a big thank you to all the local businesses who contributed wonderful prizes! Congratulations to all those who completed the Grove House Midnight Walk on Saturday 26th June. For the second year running Rachel designed and donated a special finish-line gift which was given to everyone who completed the walk. This year, this token could be used to claim a 10% discount off all our designs. |
